From 2010, the journal of the Society for Francophone Postcolonial Studies became an annual, book-length, hardback publication. The new publication bears the series title, Francophone Postcolonial Studies, and each volume has its own separate, book title. Each volume constitutes a sort of etat present on the evolution of research ranging across various expressions of Francophone Postcolonial Cultures (e.g. literature, film, music, history), as well as across different geographical areas (e.g. France/Belgium, Caribbean, Africa, Indian Ocean, Asia, Polynesia) and different periods (slavery, colonialism, post-colonial era): above all, the series publishes research that will help to set new research agendas across the entire field of Francophone Postcolonial Studies.
Proposals are warmly invited for the series; please contact the commissioning editor with a Proposal Submission Form.
